Ethiopia's top military commanders serving in Somalia have dispatched a letter to the country's interim president, Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, expressing their dissatisfaction with the policies of new Prime Minister Nur "Adde" Hassan Hussein, confidential sources tell Garowe Online.
Almost Every African Nation has a puppet in the hot seat As a Somalian & As A African I Walk With Pride.I Enjoy Studying Ethio-History,The top Commanders & The Ethio-government have no right to be In Somalia Last year 7,000 And more innocent people were killed and 8,000 were wound and only 4 hospitals in the city with only 2 working, innocent lifes are being wasted for nothing. the ethio-army are changing bases every week or so in neighbhoods populated with family they come under attack & they move life are being lost every move they make & them being trigger happy does not help so think about it why would the new MP work with them ???????????
I think we should blame President Clinton for having abandoned Somalia soon after the Black Hwk disaster. Had he stayed a little longer, according to those who were on the ground, the situation in Somalia would have stablised and Ethiopians wouldn't have to pick up where 50 thousand UN Peacekeepers left. A pivotal Nation at the gateway of major thoroughfare shouldn't have been left in the hands of profiteers, avantourists, pirates and other scams of the Earth. I had some misgivings about Ethiopian Incursion but once it is 'fait accompli', it will be disasterous for the whole World to have Ethiopia call it quits!. Somalia will fall into the hands of even more emboldened terrorists, mafiozi types who will bring more mayhem to all neighbouring countries and the World at large. One has to look at the Globe to have an idea of how important it is to stablise this Failed State. True, both sides of the quarrel are to blame for all kind of abuses. However, we aren't talking about a stable and peaceful State from the get go. If it weren't 6000 casualities we would have had close as many succumb to the War Lords who were active and vibrant well before the Ethioian Incursion.
The World Community should have come to its senses, soon after the success of Ethiopia Forces, and aided the fragile TGV structure. The procrastination of the UN and other Global players was to blame for wht is occuring in the Troubled Land of Somalia.
Imagine Mexico, being run by hooldums and drug-dealers under the disguise of religion, do you think These United States would have thought twice before invading it to fix it? I guess I made my pioint.
Perhaps a surge will do the trick in this campaign. Maybe, the AU and UN will come up with forces to take over the task of the brave Ethiopian boys, who, under tough and hostile enviroment, are trying to accomplish . By no means should Ethiopia leave Somalia to burn.
The problem in Southern Somalia should be tht of the Whole World. Thanx to the Mafiozi menatilty which was inherited from the Italians, the mob rule has been the single most obstacle to establishing rule of law. That is the problem These pundits(African Mafiozi) are known for having imported radio active waste, trading with expired milk etc . Let us say tht the 'islamic' side of the equation is just a facade. So long as those who are profiting to the tune of millions of dollars ( remittance, telephony, utilities, airport managment) are not willing to come to terms with civilised way of doing buisness(paying taxes, levies etc) they will continue on financing the restless masses. If it aint Islam they sure will create a new religion to fit their goal. And let us not forget tht much of the insurection is being encouraged by arch foes of Ethiopia, who are awash with oil money, in the immediate neighbourhood, who care less about Somalians so long as there is turmoil in Ethiopia and the whole Horn of Africa.
At the end of the day, there is meant to be disagreement even between couples. So if the Generals are complaining it won't mean much so long as the New Prime Minister has the ears of the World( Ethiopian Leaders included) and some factions of the Opposition. From what I gather, the line of communication is open. And it looks like there is progress in motion. Let us just hope for better days for the long suffering Somalian Brothers and Sisters!
The latest good news is Uganda is willing to come up with 8000 troops to quell Somalia. The sooner they arrive the sooner will Ethiopian troops go back to their barracks.

This is a very clear indication that the prime minister is trying to work independently and for the good of Somalia irrespective of Ethiopian soldiers happiness/agreement with his plans. This is exactly what should be expected from a prime minister after all he is elected/picked/selected, whatever you want to call it, in order to work on what he believes is right and not get dictated by outsiders. And of course, as usual when one does this, he is labeled as a bad boy by the invaders. Sad but real!
