No tyrant in history has remained in power indefinitely. Even the mighty Castro will one day die and his country will one day be free. So I suppose the only hope Zimbabwe has is one of two things. Either Mugabe will die, or all of Zimbabwe will die. Mugabe was good for a time, but times change. Even if it is not Tsvangirai who comes into power, someone must. Mugabe's time has come, and if Zimbabwe as a whole does not stand up to this monster then we can only hope that his strangle-hold on this country will simply run its course. Are we as Africans not outraged by the suffering and displacement of millions of our brothers and sisters? Are we so ignorant that we accept what we are told is the way things must be? This is not the Africa I love. Corruption will end by force or by time, but it will end. Freedom will always prevail. I say the time has come to stand up, Zimbabwe, and end your own suffering.
