Liberia: UP Calls for Unity Among TRC Commissioners - The NEWS

The National Chairman of the ruling Unity Party, Dr. Charles Clarke has called on members of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) to unite for the common good of the country.

I think it is now time for the TRC to be forgotten about.I do not see what they have done. The members of this commission duty is to help heal the wounds of the Liberian people but it look like they are starting a new war among themselves. Let us have a mass memorial service for all victims of the war and let us move forward. We all lost people that were very, very dear to us during the war but if we have the TRC to sit and listen to those of us that lost family members, then we will never go anywhere.Let those who did all the killing be left with their guilts. Our relatives will never come back. God is the best judge.

I 100% agreed with what luckygirl said, Our family, friends and love ones will never be brought to live. I think it will be better to move on and start a new live without interubting with the so-called (TRC) lets us advoid orther form of war in this country liberians. When you start to call people to this TRC many will not want to come out because of fear, and emotional memories. We all know that the bible says old things pass away and behold all, things are become new.
