Most of what you said is correct. It is however wrong to blame the "Whites" for our faults. Our leaders(vide Nigeria) are thieves as you mentioned.

I cannot entertain the idea that Africa is doomed, but at the same time I don't understand the kind of theives that steal from their own, that impoverish their own countrymen, that selfishly accumulate money and possessions while those around them suffer and struggle. Where did this come from - was it from the white men, the colonizers? Perhaps it was, in the sense that possessions, money and power became revered over the human attributes of love, peace and mercy. These turned out to be mere words with no substance as far as religion is concerned. One wonders how the definition of good and evil became so blurred and then so reversed as for Christianity to have given birth to the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition and institutionalised child abuse. How could we ever have allowed it to sweep away all in its path and destroy ancient cultures and wisdoms. Africa needs empowerment now. The United States of Africa shuld be a real option for consideration if she is ever to move from beggar to Queen. Self-pride, responsibility, honour...surely these have a place in the heart of Africans and can be resurrected to conquer whatever forces of darkness have indeed overcome her, in order to quench their insatiable greed.
