this is a proof that mr president, umaru musa yar'adua, does not mean well for nigeria. he is a crook himself. all these reshuffling and manouvering are ways and means of positioning himself and his accomplices for the d day. i bet u all, obasanjo will be better than umaru yar'adua. let us watch. but the president has forgotten that the present crop of nigerians are smatter than him. he just happened to be rigged into office. my advise is that seeing is beleiving. the legs that move in a suspicious way, have the eyes that are suspicious too, watching him. mr president, don't fool nobody. a time will come, when u loot, u must surrender the loot, or be killed. police, army, cannot save any looter, in the days coming. there will be no due process or rule of law. be careful, where u take us to. thank u. girl candy.

The problem with most Africans is that they are so docil! You all sit there doing nothing, saying nothing, being nothing, actioning nothing, while a few thieves steal away your future and your future generations. Everyone of you want to go to EU or USA. Why can't you people fight for your countries?

By the way, ain't you people ashamed of seeing your girls roaming the streets of EU and USA as prostitutes? The womb that bear your future are being desecrated all over the world while a few falables loot your treasury.

Yaradua or whatever his name is can only do what YOU people allow him to do. Obasanjo did what YOU people allowed him to do. You people allow an individual centric government as opposed to a system. Don't crucify the man, crucify the system that allowed him to steal YOUR future. Until you all get together and change that SYSTEM, it's swan song year to year. GOODLUCK, more looting ahead!

By the way, we in the EU see it this way:

-We buy your oil, we pay you +You steal the money from your treasury and hide it in our banks. -We turn around and lend it back to you at loans at high interest rate -You make principle and interest payment with OIL to us

Summation: FREE OIL for us & Debt burdden for your generations

*****That is all so called our PROTECTING OUR STRATEGIC INTEREST*****.

So you see, its not to our interest to see your thieves tried and/or jailed.

The tactical removal of Nuhu Ribadu as head of EFCC was seen and translated as an attempt by this administration to manipulate the EFCC into a position where it can be unqestionably maneuvered by the corrupt politicians who are overwhelmingly in control of the polity to dance to their tune. With the revelation that the new replacement, Mrs. Waziri, is said to have been sponsored in part by former governors, the fear is seemingly rife that the EFCC may now become a tool in the hands of corrupt politicians. A LITTLE MORE THE WORLD WILL SEE! The two main or outstanding problems of Nigeria and majority of Nigerian politicians are CORRUPTION and very strong ETHNIC OR TRIBAL INCLINATION. These have been affecting the country since 1956 and has been waxing stronger. The country has not been, and will never progress until and unless a solution is found. Education has been found to be of not much help in a majority of cases. To avoid a catrastrophic implosion of the polity, it is felt that the NEAR OPTIMUM SOLUTION IS TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF STATES IN THE COUNTRY TO THE SIX GEO-POLITICAL DIVISIONS OF THE COUNTRY INSTEAD OF 36 STATES. As the situation stands now, not only money is being wasted but THERE IS A COLOSSAL WASTE OF HUMAN BRAINS.

A police officer to head the EFCC.How far can Nigeria sink? The police force is one of the greatest problem facing nigerian development. The police is corrupt and untill otherwise nothing good can come from that side. The government wants to kill the EFCC by default. we can safe the EFCC ,the government should marge this organ with the ministry of finance..Ihis will make our ministry of finance very functional.Police lawyers ,police accountants, police investigators all trained in the areas of financial matters can hold fort in this department. The EFCC will no more be under pressure to carry out it's regular duties. But the EFCC as it is under a police officer's command is business as usual. We must start from somewhere. It is now. Mr president need to understand that Nigeria of yesterday is not capable of today's game.Ribadu need to go back to his position as the chairman, he has performed well under Obasanjo's administration. We have to remember that his outstanding performances has put Nigeria back in the world Golden book.Obasanjo perfomed well and left the country on the good track.we need Ribadu for the clean up the country of bad polticians. if all the people in our polity thinks is how to loot the national's tresuary, then they need to think twice because this generation of young graduates without hope for job will be push to a breaking point which might lead to a serious revolution. Its time to put life before material thing.

Yes, it raises a lot of issues that the CZAR for EFCC is sponsored by a former Govenor but this is going to be a diiferent circumsatnce because as a woman, wife, and mother Ms. Waziri should be empathetic to the plight of Nigeria and how some of those in the position of authority have squandered the resources for the next generation including her grand children.

As a learned woman she is independent and expected to do well in a male dominated workforce but equally important she is expected to be a role model for other younger women aspiring to grow up the ladder in responsible positions. She has to show that women can do better than what we experienced with Iyabo Obasanjo-Bell and Pat Etteh we are all watching. Wishing you the best Madam Czar of the EFCC the Nigerian last line of sanity probity and accountability.

Notwithstanding how Mrs. Farida Waziri came to be the EFCC Chairman or what her past occupation was, the onus is on her to diligently watch over Nigeria and her long plundered wealth. She is a mother I suppose, and knows the pains involved in giving birth to a new beginning. Let the mother-hood and professionalism in her be the only paramount thing in her mind as she steps up to help Nigeria and Nigerians go through a conscious re-birth towards a deeper appreciation for the common good and national prosperity! In this way she would be remembered as a great mother for a new Nigeria. The choice, determination and onus is all hers...no matter the pressure she may encounter from various unpatriotic forces.

It is about time!!! For those of us who know her, and her background (her former high school, which was blocks away from my old one, W.M. Bristow, etc.) think Nigeria has made a great choice. We people in the Tiv Nation, who have seen injustice under every administration, especially the Obasanjo administration, do welcome this. Besides, how is the Attorney General of Nigeria doing? Another proud child of the Tiv Nation. How did Dr. Iyorchia Ayu do as the Senate President under the Babangida so-called trial democracy? Didn't he help get a dictatorship end? Another product of the Tiv Nation. How did General Malu, as head of the Nigerian Army do, and after that, wasn't he paramount in asking for justice for the people of Zaki Biam and the community in the Niger Delta, after Obasanjo and his cohorts started killing people who didn't agree with them? Another proud Tiv nation product. People, we are in for real democratic and equity justice for ALL here!

This is something of National importance and should never be made an tribal issue. I wonder when people like you should be more patriotic and stop whiping tribal sentiments. For your information, Ribaudu, whose performance has made Nigeria proud is not from Tiv Nation. So also is the Director of National Drug Law enforcement Agency and many others who have performed credibly. You have just mentioned the attorney general of the federation as one of your own that according to you, is of examplary character, but for your information, I see him as one of the worst attorneys general of the Federation. What Yaradau has just done by systematically removing Ribaudu is just a clear example of his weakness and poor judgement. Please try to be more patriotic.

I call on all well meaning Nigerians, especially the National Assembly to resist this plot.

I really feel ashamed of your so called "patriotic" comments on Tiv nation and her people. Mentioning people with little or no integriy like the attorney general of the federation and iyorchia ayu as your own shining examples of success is quite unfortunate. You are entitled to your opinion if these are the best your tribe can boast of. I believe there are more worthy Tiv stuffs than the ones you have mentioned. Be more nationalistic and objective in your approach to national issues. Tribal sentiments lead us to know where.

This is a situation of 'government come, people come and government go, people go. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu came to do dirty economic and political jobs for OBJ in the name of EFCC. It is now turn for Waziri to do hers for Yar'Adua. However, I pity both Nigerians and foreigners who felt that Ribadu was rightous. Government Come, Government Go, Nija remains.

Wellcome onboard mrs wazari,as a former or still a policewoman we,re not supposed to trust you based on our experiences with the police force of Nigeria, but we,ll be too unkind not to give you the benefit of doubt so as to see what you can offer. The opportunity is now there for you to prove us all that you are different and our notions of the police is that of being a fundermental part of our problem .Live for the sake of posterity or live for today,we are watching. We, Nigerians, are in big trouble and I sincerely hope you can rise up to the occasion and assist us in arresting and prosecuting the thieves that,ve made life hell for all Nigerians.I wish you good luck and don,t forget that Nigerians and the world have their eyes glued on what,s going to become of your tenure.

My own focus in not on Farida Waziri or Nuhu Ribadu or Lamorde. My own concern is to say that the war against corruption in Nigeria will never get a headway until we wage a successful war against corruption. I know so many people believe that corruption has nothing to do with poverty. That is their own view to which they are entitled but I am also entitled to mine. The greatest problem with us here in Nigeria is lack of truth. Those in government know that Nigerians live on wages that bear no relevance to even 10 percent of their needs yet every one carries on as if things are okay. it is a taboo for anyone to say that Nigerians are suffering. Our moral fabric has been eroded because most family head have lost their moral authority over their families due to their inability to financially cater for their families. These days college girls are bread winners of their families. They bring in mega bucks (from sugar daddies) into the house and the father who is either unemployed or under paid cannot dare ask where she got the money. he gets his own share and pretends that he doent know what is going on. The young boys spend their days at the cyber cafe trying to dupe foreginers. The parents cannot talk cos hey probably cannot afford to feed the kids. Governments in Nigeria believe that the only measure of achievement is infratstuctural developments (which as far as the common nigerian is concerned equals mega contracts for the politicians) nobody ever bother about improving th human worth of the Nigerian whixh is as important as infrastructural developments. about 75% of nigerians live in sub human conitions yet we decieve ourselves into believing that if any one of these people who ave been living desperate lives year in year out suddenly find themselves in charge od govt coffers they would not steal?? It i like putting a straving man in a room with gormet cooking on the and telling him it is an offence to touch the food?? if the war against corruption is to suceed it must be faught side by side with the war against poverty. I am quite sure that if the level of living of the Nigeria goes up considerably the incidents of corruption would reduce greatly.......
