Zimbabweans were to go to the polls on Friday in a presidential election run-off. But it looks like it will be a walkover for President Mugabe.
African heads of government should start embracing the so called SOCIAL DEMOCRACY,we have all failed, if we look at what has been taking place in the African countries starting with Uganda, Kenya and now Zimbabwe,I fell like am just a mistaken identity in this beautiful continent called Africa,
We Africans are yet to understand the difference between Governance and Power. This two great issues have led our leaders to many great evils ie Grand corruption, miss use of Power/ state office,Tribalism and nepotism, unequal distribution of state resources, poor transitional change in Governance,Terrorism, insecurity,Unemployment to most young people, inequality, poor infrastructure and newer ICT methods.
All this among many have made the African people get subjected to so many evil eg, extreme poverty and hunger , poor health facilities,HIV/AIDS and so many
I have a dream for our continent especially Kenya, am looking forward one day when Kenyan people will wake up one day and walk freely on the streets of Nairobi,Go for free and fare/just elections, have food to put on the table and be able to access medical services without any problem.
ANN BULIMU UPCOMING POLITICIAN
Well said Ann, i hope the day comes very soon when the real voice of the people is heard, and they can choose there own direction with there own vote and live there own life the way they choose.
Yes ann i agree with you on governence and democracy but for you information things wont change much in africa in the next hundred years so long as our actions are determined by politicians. The last person to seek advice from should be a politicain but in africa it is the opposite. By the way nairobi is very safe now a days. Feel free to walk on the streets any time.
What I find difficult to understand is considering the recent Kenyan elections, how does anyone in Kenya have the right to comment on anything going on in Zimbabwe.
