VOTING has started in Zimbabwe in a presidential run-off election despite the withdrawal of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change party's leader Morgan Tsvangirai and calls to postpone the election which the ruling party defied.

What a FARCE !!
an "election" whereby you might elect one man/ and the point is ....???
Mugabe has not lost all credibility: the 'scary' thing is that this ..uh.. yeah, this MUGABE (Sir? no more!) has supporters from variety of quarters who HONESTLY IMBIBE of his rhetoric, who align themselves with him on accoun primarily of Western Imperialism - which HE DENOUNCES - very emphatically and very repeatedly!
However; altho there is meat in this --> that the West indeed has exploited the rest of the WORLD - particularly oil or mineral-rich states, and at times shown their leaders and policies little time of day... YET that DOES NOT legitimize his actions. It is like saying; that MERCEDES has some rust, and Mercedes-Benz has such and so ethical-challenges. .. , so I'll forego buying a Mercedes and altho I can afford one I 'll put equal (value) cash to buy a Mazda 323.. Probably a poor analogy.. but anyhow.. where to next with Zimbabwe?? Certainly too Mr Morgan Tsvangiri DOES NOT have all the answers!! It is really complex: a lot of NGO's and other Organizations need to help in a synergistic and over-arching plan... MANY volunteer workers can come in -- and even NOW be briefed on African-culture, on the HIV-Aids situation -- DVD's and a special website can facilitate this.. . A Lot can be done: with calls from the likes of Madiba, A/bishop Desmond Tutu and a host of celebrities .. BECAUSE if not.., the situation there is nowhere yet as bad (socio-wise) as it is yet to become. FINAL WORD: do something - plan - co'ordinate - implement BEFORE it collapses and another African morass results -- that can be PREVENTED!!
