Allew609, I see some of your points. You are right that the African elders should do right by their children. For instance, I do not know what the exact number of the young boys who belong to Mugabe's militia is. These children are being trained to follow a path of destruction and violence instead of being encouraged to attain an education. What will happen to all these kids when finally things return to sanity. They are going to find themselves with no skills and no jobs and will get into crime. As you said ,there is no longer the traditional honor and respect that was paid to elders before. Those days are gone where children sat listening to stories from their grandparents - in fact everywhere. What I find very sad is that whilst most Western children have every opportunity for an education and to reach the skies if they so desire, the African children, and in the case of Zimbabwe,know at a very early age that to survive they have to fend for themselves as many have lost parents, and others have to raise their brothers and sisters even though they are children themselves. In places like Zimbabwe, it is the leaders of the country that fail these children and not their parents as thy too are struggling with nothing in the country, not even peace.

The Europeans have placed NO sanctions against Zimbabwe. If it were not for Mugabe, Zimbabwe would be solvent, and there be no child "denied, starved and slaughtered". You are blind. The wealth of your country has been plundered by the black man - your very own Robert Mugabe and his comrades. Check their life styles.
