Prince Johnson, Your comments and suggestions are partly good and partly not good but one thing I will like for you to understand is the TRC is not a place of judgement but a place set up to know the true of the past happenings of the Liberian Civil war,and this is imperative for all those that took part in it to appear and talk nothing but the true. The idea Mr. Prince Johnson to feel that you did not do any wrong and that the war brought on the Liberian people by you and your Cohorts is something right, is something posterity will judge;God knows all that you did and he is the judge for it is stated Biblically, judge not for ye be not judged.Getting down to the Nitty-Gritty part of this whole appearance to the TRC by you should not be anything of fear or suggestion on your part of who is to appear at the TRC or who is competent to be on the TRC. Sir, the best thing you can do for the Liberian people is to appear without any pre-condition to the TRC and tell all about yourself. Liberians are waiting on you Mr. Johnson to listen to your part of the story. and for the others leave it with the TRC because their time will come, but do not be the player and at the same time a Referee. We know all that went on but the Liberian people will like to know from you all the attrocities committed in the name of a so-called Freedom fighter. Yesterday, you were talking about politicians but today you have forgotten about yourself of being in politics, but be mindful for the present Government that you are in is being criticized for not being able to guarantee genuine security for its citizenry, especially so when you are a member of the senate committee on National security. Be mindful also that there are cryings out there that, your the Legislators from Nimba county, with the exception of few of your colleagues are being accused of tampering with Nimba county development funds for your personal aggrandizement.ET TU Prince?Politique dans Afrique cette tress dificile pasceque ces difficile pour voir vrai l'homme. Mais tu va voir mon compatriot.Aurevoir.

I would like to thank Senator Prince Y. Johnson for the level of co-operation thus far. He is showing the Liberian people that forgiveness and reconciliation is all that Liberians need at this point in time. No one is above the law as he mentioned and that anyone who hurt his fellow Liberian during the war be it intentional or unintentional must be willing to apoligize.

Senator Johnson shows that he has Liberia at heart for a good purpose.

Author, I think u are not talking with sence. If Mr Johnson accept the invitation from the TRC is it a problem? Are U one of them that is hiding in your shell? Do you know the reason behind the Liberian war or you just want to point your finger at Mr. Johnson. How old are you by the way and Have you ever read the Liberian History? If You dont know why Mr Johnson Kill Doe, let me help you with a bit of the liberian history. I want you to close your wide mouth and never again talk any thing about Mr Johnson.

""" April 12, 1980: Samuel K. Doe, a master sergeant of Krahn descent in the Liberian army, overthrows the government in a bloody coup.

President Tolbert is assassinated, 13 Cabinet ministers are executed, and dozens of other government officials are imprisoned.

1985: Samuel Kanyon Doe becomes Liberia's 20th president.

Doe claims victory in a presidential election under a cloud of controversy and charges of vote-rigging. Despite the allegations, the United States accepts the results of the election and offers support to the new president.

November 1985: Thomas Quiwonkpa, Doe's former second-in-command, is killed after his failed attempt to depose Doe's government.

The coup attempt leads to government-led violence against the Gio and Mano people of Quiwonkpa's native Nimba County.

December 24, 1989: The National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) enters Liberia.

Civil war breaks out, and Charles Taylor becomes the first of several Liberian warlords.

September 9, 1990: Samuel K. Doe is executed.

President Doe is captured and killed by a rebel faction led by Prince Johnson. In spite of his execution, civil war continues to rage.

September 1998: Liberian government forces fire into the U.S. Embassy in Liberia when opposition leader Roosevelt Johnson seeks refuge in it.

Johnson is ultimately airlifted out of the country. The violence prompts the U.S. to close the embassy. Two months later, Liberia offers an apology for the incident, and the Embassy is reopened"" Now U know why Mr Johnson take arms. His People were the one the that Do wanted to wipe out from the liberian map. I have to stop pain my head. U are just a child. Ask your dad what was the reason Liberia was at war, perhap we will put you down and say, Son, don't say what you don't know. Let me tell you the whole reason...........

Hey Guys, We agreed that Prince Johnson and others must appear before the Liberian people.Which is good, from the unset of the TRC,I and others denounce and opposed to the establishment of the TRC.One of the reasons was/is Liberia as a Nation just coming out of a brutal Civil war,we stil believed that establishment of the TRC was untimely and early! The wounds of those affected in the War are still open.

2.Those that actually committed actrocities in Liberia either way or the other has people still loyal to them that can do anything to disturb the Peace that Liberians are enjoy since 15years ago.

3.Inviting others to appear before the TRC will not just cause more instability,it has the ability to contract the President at the time and other Presidents to come;consequently if the president refuses to appear before the TRC,Liberia will once again go back to those old days of War.

4. If the TRC is established in Liberia today, there will be more work to do with Families of those stick holders that were killed in the war.

Our positions to the establishment of the TRC was Made clear to Mr.Taylor but he refused to grant us audience.Today we are experiencing exactly that we mentioned to the President.Mr.Joshson is pointing fingers to others while others are pointing fingers to the President and Mr.Johnson.What are we into? Is the government financially equipped to take the tears from the affected Liberians eyes?We still think that the President and others should reconsider their decision and not appear before the TRC.If we want the truth, lets support the Catholic Church and ask for a war crime court in Liberia years from now when Liberia is mature enough. Again Liberian people are back to square one. While it is true that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, I would definiely agree with Mr Prince Johnson that the key participants of the war appear before the so-called True and Reconcilation Commission. There is an old saying that, charity begins at home. Hence, the first person who would have to appear before this commission is Ms Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who is widely believed to be one of the first persons to contribute money to Mr Taylor's war in Liberia. Moreover,it is very surprising to learn that Mr Kafumbah Konneh has denied that he was not member of any warring factions. For Mr. Konneh who was one of the spokepersons for ULIMO to now come up and denounce his association in this group is a sham. Such person being member of the TRC and the failure, despite calls from many quarters, of Ms. Sirleaf to appear before this body cast credibility doubt on the organization. Moreover, the TRC was a set up put in place by the very people who committed crimes against the Liberian people to exonerate themselves from prosecution. It must be emphasized that the victims of the wars,Liberians, did not take part in the formation of the TRC.
