Archaeological experts are divided on a plan to exhume the hominid footprints at Laetoli for public display, some arguing that this could lead to erosion of the rare imprints.
Oh and I suppose you are more intelligent than these so called intelligent people huh? Let everyone have their own theories and beliefs. No need for words like "utter rubbish".
There is no such thing as prehistoric, something that happened before history??????
prehistory ? all past is historical and an indiana man is hoping to change some of the views of it with his discovery of artifacts that have never been found before in the u.s. a full blown levallois mousterian middle paleo style tool industry complete with levallois cores and core tools, levallois points, mousterian hand axes, scrapers, backed blades on levallois flakes, burins on levallois blades, effigies, of birds, and other animals, ochres of red, yellow, and black, bone tools, unidentified bone with stone point imbedded in it. this collection is unmatched by any found so far in north america. millions of dollars are being spent searching for coherent preclovis tools and they have already been found. dr. borde's typology has been used to referrence the tools and the collection contains virtually every described tool in his typology. the finder would certainly welcome any analysis that any university or other org. might offer to satisfy the critics doubts. tools of the oldowan and acheulean are found in north america as well as africa. the out of africa migration theory may be in for it's greatest challenge yet. time will tell if the evolution theory is just that.....theory.
I would like to know more about the mousterian style stone tools found in the United States.
I too would like to know about this Dr. Borde's discoveries. Doninger, can you please tell us more? Such discoveries would truly be incredible. I hold some controversial opinions and theories myself and I am very interested in this.
You can email me at popelane24@yahoo.ca, please do, with more information. Thanks!
I have to wonder why the mysterious Dr. Borde has concealed this information from the world so thoroughly. Even the internet, long a source of dubious and unsubstantiated information, appears virtually devoid of this stunning revelation.
Sounds like pseudo-scientific wishful thinking to me. Sort of like the wishful thinking involved in pretending that well established theories are nothing more than unfounded guesswork.
this was not a discovery by dr. borde, i am sorry for any misunderstanding.....borde's typology of middle paleo artifacts has been used to interpret the find in indiana, u.s. ther have been a couple collections revealed lately in the u.s that strongly suggest a neandertal occupation. one from the state of georgia by a cardiovascular surgeon, one from the state of tennessee, and another from indiana. stone tools from three different states, all of which display levallois technology, mousterian of acheulean style lithics that scream of preclovis habitation. while hundreds of thousands of dollars are being spent searching for preclovis evidence everywhere from underwater in the gulf of mexico to a sinkhole in florida the avocational archaeologists are assembling a huge display of middle paleo style lithics that challenge all of the current "first american theories". want to know more? email me at doninger@sbcglobal.net or by phone at 812 4238734

I really do not understand how so called intelligent people can get so hit up and emotional and spend so much time rummaging around so much very plain to see, utter rubbish, just a theory proposed 150yrs ago and is still not in anyway proven.
