What do you expect when you make a deal with the DEVIL. MT should get used to being abused, sidelined, maligned, and otherwise mistreated by Mugabe. Nothing has changed----execpt that now MT is Mugabe's boy in some sense. What a mess. MDC should have NEVER agreed to a deal that left Mugabe (the DEVIL that he is) in any position of real power.

Tsvangirayi is now facing the reality of the foolishness of withdrawing from the runoff elections and handing Bob the Presidency. The best he can do now is simply to focus on using his new position to get the chance to sort out the economy and constitution in order to create conditions for a free and fair election in future.

All that Zim ever needed was a popular mass movement to send devil Mugabe to the purgatory.

We must opt out for the USA model of government. This system of government can serve us better than the TOP to BOTTOM system operating in the UK. The Uk one necessitance the creation of a ruling class 'chefs' who stay at the top more or less permanently. The American system is very close to the one operating in Gerany and France. Lets get help from the State Dept to set up USA type democratic instruments of governance. When l lived in the States during President Reagan's time, l was converted to the USA system of government. Lets try it.

AK 47 I am not sure if I get this straight, you are actually admonishing the correct method of elections ? Like the USA ? If that is the case , then we should be inaugurating our beloved President , Morgan Tsvingarai, not bad Bob. If you agree then I must say , AK, you and I are in full agreement. If Bob o was a true Zimbabwean patriot, he would step down for the love of Zimbabwe , Zimbabweans and common human decency, instead the old mampara stays ! He is only concerned about himself , all the good things he did in the past, we must question as to whether he put on a great big acting performance worthy of an OSCAR. He is either senile or never was worth a damn. Aluta Continuaa !

What correct method of elections are you talking about? The US is anything but a democracy. It's a choice between dumb and dumber. This IS a two-party dictatorship, nothing more. Anyone who models their democracy after the United States is doomed to fail.

At least Zimbabweans had a choice between two candidates who actually opposed each other... all the candidates in the United States do is either agree with each other or use insults to win this petty popularity contest.

To be perfecly honest Aka' I have reservations about US style elections and probably that of most other militarised countries. Especially those when they are programmed to defend at all costs in manners that are sinister and dubious.Zimbabwe's election, if the original results were accepted, could easily have been a model for the world .But no, greed anger and stupidity took over. One can only wonder why the fierce opposition to losing the spot at the trough.

Now its the IN"security" chiefs ruling. Telling Mugabe what to do or else. The nation is under worse siege and needs urgent outside help to deal with cruel, self-serving and corrupt chiefs of police, army intelligence. Remember their vows before elections? What has now changed or you really believe they will leave their positions of power and privilege just like that? This is beyond Mugabe's power to resolve. Refusal to acknowledge this fact of history sadly costs ZW its freedeom forever. Tsvangirai, sadly, must sit at one of the feasting tables on the gravy train, or jump off risking personal injury.

instead of standing in queues waiting for useless money which can only encourage Gono and his disgraceful 'policies' more - those people should jes take to the streets and march/protest/fight and get rid of the devil - i agree with you in entirety prem. i really doubt they have much to fear as i am so convinced the police and army will join in and also unleash their frustrations noone on the streets is happy am sure, & the army and police is not Mugabe, Chiwenga etc - that kinda elite fear to tread amongst the masses for fear of retribution. And nevermind RG's mad-dogs (war-vets green bombers) they just as hungry and can never stand up to the masses if need be i mean get real!!!! they'll tuck in tail and run too! as for you aka - is that you upholding the west by suggesting a USA govt in Zim? is that truly you - if so makorokoto! if you can so can ZANU - chinjaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
