Barack Obama's decisive, almost insurmountable, lead in the polls and with it the seeming inevitability of his emergence as America's next president has Republicans frustrated and bewildered. The sense of helplessness that this reality has spawned among Republicans has provoked one of the rawest and meanest campaigns in America's political history.

CORRECTION: Barack Obama is a modern day son of a Kenyan. Whether he raised him or not, it still shows the origin of such talent AFRICA, then top that off with the works of both Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela. That shows 3 Strong Black Men completely non violent in their quest for justice and fairness for all, not just their own race. What are the odds of that?
i agree that Obama is like Mandela and Luther King: he is an example of the true nature of man that is untainted but bombarded; as of Jesus Christ- to God be the glory, though never soiled, was criticized and killed- but yet, rose again on the third day. Thus, defeating death. Therefore senator Obama shall have to pass through these sorts of fire to be most purified before facing the election (as a form of death in retrospect), subdue racism by winning the mandate and thus defeating the friction between white and black and finally instilling to permanence, the fate of the African on planet earth as an equal factor.
Also let us not ignore the fact that an Obama winner will bring about a most probable possibility of reconciling the middle east, Pakistan-Afghanistan region of Asia, Israel and the West to a valuable degree that shall precede sustainable world peace. He should never forget Africa, his motherland: yes America has fathered him, so he is American, and should remain grateful and completely dedicated. If this is a foretell, I do proclaim in the name of Jesus that Obama will win the U.S.A presidential election of 2007/08 and shall help the world in these troubled times. Glory be to God in the highest heaven and on earth, peace to mankind, plus serenity, to men of good will.
This election is not about a black man versus white man. What makes Obama a black man? This election is about doing something new for the Americans.Just tiered hrearing Black man, black man. Obama is Black and white, sinmple!!!
The present US election is about issues, not about smear campaign. It is about realities, not about racism. On issues OBAMA has a strong educational background from Harvard University Law School, and therefore has a good understanding of issues in politics His Republican rival is not all that educated even though he has a military background, but that is not the issue now bwcause the REALITY #1 is that America is fighting an unjust war in IRAQ which drains her economy to the extent of 10 billion dollars each month.REALITY #2 is that the REPUBLICAN admin. under BUSH is a failure in many ways, and even McCAIN himself admits that there is need for "a change in WASHINGTON",and that change obviously cannot mean returning the REPUBLICANS to the White House.McCain's running mate Gov.PALIN has been found guilty of abuse of power as a governor of ALASKA,and she now is a disservice to McCan's presidential bid.Obama has the backing of very eminent people in USA,such as FMR.PRES CLINTON,and FMR Pres CARTER etc.NOTHING WILL STOP HIS RACE FOR THE WHITE HOUSE.
Mr Obama is an eloquent gentleman. I watched the final presidential debate and he made me proud of the fact that he not only addressed the issues facing America, but remained cool and collected. On the other hand, I found McCain to be pompous and disdainful and on a constant personal attack mode on Mr Obama which I found very annoying. McCain showed a typical small man syndrome and I certainly would not vote for him because he is not only a pompous ass, but his vice president Mrs Palin is just a cheer leader and not American presidential material.
Barack Obama is not a son, of a son, of a son. He is a son of a modern day Kenyan. This election shows the potential of an African if given a chance, (some white folks are frantic, NO PROBLEM). It should prove to all Africans that they are worthy of good success. It's perhaps the best example for all Africans to BELIEVE in themselves and the potential of Africa as a whole. It's the most Basic, Grassroots Fundamental Truth about AFRICANS but have been suppressed for decades. AFRICANS embrace this moment, use this time to build yourselves, to restore belief in yourselves. You can be proud to be an African and destined to forever shake suppressed, oppressed, "poor" Africa. BE DONE WITH THAT IMAGE FOR GOOD. Times have changed and as we evolve it will become harder for African Leaders to maitain the "business as usual politics". The only option left would be to silence (your people) those who don't aggree with your leadership and that, in today's humanitarian/human rights conscious world is not really an option not to mention scaring investors away.
