MOVEMENT for Democratic Change (MDC) leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, this week boycotted a Southern African Development Community (SADC) Troika meeting in Swaziland meant to try to break the stalemate over the apportionment of ministries in a government of national unity, in protest against delays by President Robert Mugabe's administration in issuing him with a passport.

"Get Obama to unify Africa"
That implies DEMOCRACY.
Where in Africa is democracy paramount. Which country has has the right to criticize Zimbabwe. I think that Africa needs to do a lot of soul searching now, otherwise during the coming economic downturn, they will lose out. Get rid of Dictators, Corrupt Governments and Tribal attitudes. This world is too small for this. Even more important....Life is too short.
Leviboone, who are the "we?" You are trying to make it look as though you have power in America that will make Mr Obama listen to you. YOU influence Obama? HA!Ha!HA! What a laugh. You have no power but are at the mercy of the Americans. I wonder why you ran away from Africa.
Leviboone does have one thing right though. For a change. That Mugabe has been playing a circle of chess with the people of Zimbabwe. The election was held in March. If the result of that election were allowed to stand. And I mean the true result as it stood before the 5 weeks it took to release the published results, the true results that were posted out the front of polling stations on the day people voted. I 100% believe that the results gave Tsvangirai more than the 50% required, otherwise why the 5 week delay to produce results that took 1 day to be released in the second "election". If these results were allowed to stand, and Mugabe had respected the will of the people from this point, the MDC would be 6 months into their government, and Zimbabwe would already be 6 months on the road to recovery. And still we are waiting for Mugabe to give up power that isnt rightfully his. And who suffers? The poeple of Zimbabwe. The very people Mugabe serves.
Awt_independent, You are a fool if by now you do not know that Tsvangirai did not win the presidential elections. Even you boss, McGee, acknowledged that his stooge failed to garner the required support to get the presidency. This is why he had to travel to South Africa and drag him by the color to come back and contest the re-run. If the idiot had won outrightly, McGee would not have wasted his time forcing Boycott to come, considering that he had more than 200 CIA operatives criss-crossing the country during the elections.
The mare fact that McGee had to use force to get Tsvangi to come back to Zimbabwe is enough proof that the stooge does not listen to anyone else except McGee. Even the British are not happy with Tsvangirai's leaning towards the Americans when it was their project in the first place.
The idiot will regret his actions of selling out and causing the suffering of Zimbabweans. He has to shoulder the blame not only of the suffering of the people but also of the instransigent and arrogency he is showing to the SADC leaders.
Therefore plse take note that President Mugabe did NOT and has NOT "played a circle of chess with the people of Zimbabwe". The President has been consistent and has shown respect to leaders of the region who have asked him to give Boycott time to swing with McGee. He has the people of Zimbabwe at heart and he shares their sorrows as they face all problems caused by one man, TSVANGIRAI.
The President is working around the clock to provide inputs, tractors and all that is required to the people of Zimbabwe for the coming agric season. No amount of demonisation will seperate/isolate him from the people where he came from. He is a people's President and to the people he will always go.
2 questions for you Mr Mugabe is the most democratic leader in Africa.
1) Did the AU and SADC recognise the run off election as free and fair?
2) If the answer to this question is no, (which is the factual proof), why not?
Takunya, Mr Mugabe is the most democratic leader in Africa, you just cant help yourself providing me with ammunition for my list now can you. Where do you come up with this nonsense!
So please ignore any comments from Takunya and Comical Mabhiza. The more irrational nonsense they speak, the longer the list grows and the clearer it becomes how idiotic they are. Here are some facts (and you cant argue with facts!) why.. 1) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza work for the Herald, are paid by the ZANU PF to spread propaganda and lies, and to twist the truth in the ZANU PF's favor on the internet. 2) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza are one and the same person. 3) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza have stated that Mugabe is the most democratic leader in Africa. Seriously! 4) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza have stated that "in a bid to tarnish the image of Zanu pf, MDC went on a killing spree and murderered 130 MDC and Zanu pf supporters in the process." 5) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe there were " over 200 CIA operatives criss-crossing the country during the elections." 6) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe "Even the British are not happy with Tsvangirai's leaning towards the Americans when it was their (regime change) project in the first place. 7) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that "Prem and Awt_independent, Phiri … are hired by the MDC establishment. Infact they are the brains in MDC hence are the ones strategising attacks on the Zimbabwean people be it via violence or sanctions." So now I work for the CIA, MI5 (see below) and the MDC. 8) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that war veterans and police officers should be allowed to bar the MDC from distributing food to starving orphans. 9) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that freedom of speech should not exist in Zimbabwe and newspaper editors should be monitored to ensure they subscribe to the Zanu PF government's policies. 10) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that the US and Britain have openly stated that they are working with Zimbabwean journalists for "illegal regime change" 11) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe the west "created the HIV virus and injeted it into the African people. They then turned around and alleged that HIV originated in Africa" 12) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe the MDC has a "dictatorial leader who does not allow alternative voices". Rather ironic that one. 13) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza both support the use of violence, murder, rape and torture by Mugabe against the people of Zimbabwe. 14) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza both believe that Bush is responsible for atrocities in Iraq, and this justifies Mugabe's atrocities in Zimbabwe, including the genocide of 20,000 Ndebele people and the murders of over 100 MDC supporters during this years elections. 15) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza should be ignored because none of their posts are truthful and they are always misleading. 16) If you say anything against Mugabe, Takunya and Comical Mabhiza may say that you are paid by the CIA and MI5 to write here. 17) I do not work for the CIA 18) The CIA does not pay me. If they do, please give them my bank account details, all cards accepted. :-) 19) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza will also resort to childish name calling when they have no factual evidence based argument. 20) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza both believe that Tsvangirai called for sanctions against the people of Mugabe. 21) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza should be ignored because non of their posts are truthful and they are always misleading. 22) Tsvangirai never called for sanctions against the people of Zimbabwe. 23) When confronted and asked for evidence of this, Takunya and Comical Mabhiza have none. 24) The Sanctions faced by Zimbabwe are not against the people of Zimbabwe. 25) The Sanctions faced by Zimbabwe are only against the government and its ministers, and 4 companies, including one that makes military uniforms. 26) None of these Sanctions are faced by the people of Zimbabwe. 27) Tsvangirai is not responsible for these sanctions. 28) If Tsvangirai did not exist, there would still be sanctions on Zimbabwe (as described above). 29) Therefore Tsvangirai is 100% independent of Zimbabwe being sanctioned as above. 30) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza should be ignored because non of their posts are truthful and they are always misleading. 31) Biti and Ncube, and Tsvangirai had no input into the drafting of the American sanctions bill. 32) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe the west wants to recolonise Zimbabwe. 33) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe the west wants to invade Zimbabwe. 34) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza should be ignored because non of their posts are truthful and they are always misleading. 35) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe the west wants to poison aid and kill Zimbabweans. 36) Tsvangirai has never denied aid to the Zimbabwean people, only Mugabe has done this. 37) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza should be ignored because non of their posts are truthful and they are always misleading. 38) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that Zimbabwe only has partial independence and that the fight against colonialism still goes on. 39) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that Tsvangirai called for sanctions whilst being interviewed on BBC HardTalk in 2000. 40) Tsvangirai never appeared on BBC HardTalk in 2000. More lies. 41) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that the British want to bomb Zimbabwe. 42) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that the west wants to inject AIDS into aid to give to the people of Zimbabwe. 43) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that west want to destabilize Zimbabwe and "make it ungovernable for eventual American and British takeover just like in Iraq and Afghanistan." 44) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that Tsvangirai didn’t attend the meeting of SADC heads in Swaziland because he refused to go, and that he had a valid passport tor travel. This is after the Zim government clearly stated that Tsvangirai wasn’t issued a passport because there was no paper to make passports due to paper being under sanction. 45) Paper is not under any type of sanction. 46) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that Zimbabwe does not need any outside help. 47) Takunya and Comical Mabhiza believe that Bush is tainting Genetically Modified Foods with Aids and delivering it to Zimbabwe. Is this even possible? 48) Takunya and comical Mabhiza believe that Tsvangirai boycotted the Swaziland summet in favour of a round of golf. 49) For saying these things, Takunya and Mabhiza have tried to discredit me by saying that "You have supported the American war on Iraq and Afghanistan. You have supported the torture of suspected terrorists by the CIA as it practises its extraordinary randition around the world. You have supported the rape of women and girls by the American soldiers many times. You have supported the use of chemical weapons on civilians in Vietnam many times on this forum. You are a CIA agent. You have been exposed as a bitter former white commercial farmer who got recruted by the CIA. You are totally against the land reform do not lie. You were part of the killing machinary that massacred our comrades at Chimoio, Nyadzonya, Mkushi etc." All of this is simply propaganda made up by Takunya and Mabhiza to discredit what I say in my posts. And obvious as such to everyone with a brain. And I wouldnt be campaigning so strongly for the people of Zimbabwe who are subject to such practices at the hands of the Butcher of Harare if any of this were true. Water off a ducks back to me though. PS did everyone spot the 4 spelling mistakes in that piece of nonsense. Someone needs to learn how to spell too. :-) So just ignore Takunya and Comical Mabhiza, and let these facts speak for themselves. Thank you for your time.
Awt I am sure too you are 100% right. The murder of this ZEC official who talked about the printing of 9 million ballots with less than 6 million voters in Zimbabwe tells the same story. That's why Mugabe was so furious. He expected to have a 50% majority anyway. But unfortunately for him some people refused to carry out his orders. Imagine what score Muggerbe must have had in a real free and fair election. In reality on the scorebord Tsvangerai totally destroyed him. 5 weeks they needed to fix some numbers. And even with all these ghostvoters he did not win the election. So new free elections under international supervision from the UN is an option. Will be cheaper too Takunya if they only print ballots for voters who really exist. And whatever is said here by some morons it is clear that the people of Zimbabwe know this as well. Was it a clever move from Zanu to kill this Zec official? Now the story goes all over the world. Showing the true face of this evil regime. Time for a change. A democratic change. Buluku!
"So new free elections under international supervision from the UN is an option", it isnt just "an" option, its the only option. If Mugabe and his supporters truely believe that they have the people of Zimbabwe behind them, then they have nothing to fear from a truely free an fair election right? Let the people speak, and then lets respect their choice, whether it be Pro-Mugabe or Pro-Tsvangirai. The people need a chance to be heard.
Awt I do not disagree with you on this. What I meant was that I doubt if fair and free elections will be organized because Mugabe and Zanu know they would loose and will do anything to avoid them. So I was more thinking about protests resulting in the end of the dictator like before happened with Milosevic, Ceaucescu, Marcos. Even in East Germany communists could not stop the massive protests. It requires organisation and courage to stand up. But also their opponents (these policemen, soldiers etc.) will see soon that Mugabe brings the country nowhere. After education, healthcare, parliament ...soon police and army do not get their paycheques anymore. So opportunities for regimechange are getting bigger and bigger. With all this hungry desperate people an uprising can't be far away is my feeling.
I agreed with you, just emphasising that a true and fair election is the 'right' way out of this problem.
But like you say, how its managed will be ultra important. Whether Mugabe likes it or not, regime change is coming in Zimbabwe, and with it a power vacuum which usually leads to violence as people try to step up into it. Even if Mugabe stays in power till his death, when he passes, there will be a huge fight to fill his position. And people will die.
So Zim has to be very careful or we will see the worst of people come out...
It is true that the people eventually must rise up against Mugabe. However he is waiting for this to happen so that he can try to supress them further. The ominous signs now are that Mugabe is posuring very dangerously against Botswana, saying the Botswana Govt. is training Zimbabwean to create a civil war. Similar to the claim that the selous scouts had crossed the border to regain the farms after the March election. Muhabe might be of the mistaken opinion that by creating a civil war he can take full attention away from his problems at home. Similar to the argetinian govt. with the Faulkland islands. It is clear that Mugabe forged the results of the March election paving the way for the July fiasco. Imagine that Obama, son of a Kenyan father could run and win the presidency of the United States. They could manage and count the election within 24 hours. Mugabe 5 weeks - an election lost by a huge margin and fiddled! Mugabe will never allow fresh elections under any form of supervision, even SADC knows how it was manipulated. The March elections declared free and fair (Mugabe said MDC had cheated) The later eklections declared in no way free and fair (Mugabe declares himself victor and inaugorated immediately).
Hello! Jacob Zuma is right.MDC,MDC-T,and ZANU-PF are Playing a Circle of Chess with the people lives who need our help very bad. What a Crying Shame. If we can get Obama elected here in America ,we will try to get him to help unite the 53 States Of Africa too. Oweij Liebo Tarboro,North Carolina USA.
