Well said. Obviously, Emperor Yar, in his desperate attempt to win international approval has rushed to commit Nigerian troops to replace the Ethiopians in Somalia, without first, debating the pros and cons and getting the NASS approval after ensuring and getting UN commitment that there will be adequate provision for our troops’ logistics and life support. The Emperor never learned from how 9 Nigerian soldiers were murdered in Sudan because UN gave them neither the mandate nor the logistical support to defend themselves thus making them sitting duck peace-keepers to be sniped at, a la target practice. What about other countries in the region around Somalia like Egypt, Kenya, Yemen & Saudi Arabia, etc who should have more at stake in providing security measures to keep their neighborhood safer. Did any of those countries contribute no troops or financial wherewithal to peace-keeping in West Africa? It seems to me that those countries value the lives of their soldiers more than to allow them to be wasted, needlessly, despite UN’s “pie-in-the-sky” Security Council seat carrot. Yet, Emperor Yar was quick to give orders for our military to “shoot” innocent Nigerians “on sight” during the Jos-riot, in which 90 innocent lives were snuffed away within 5 minutes by the soldiers. Is killing Muslims in order to appease the Yorubas and Igbos a solution to the middle-belt ethnic problems. Two wrongs do not make a right. If 90 miscreants’ lives were that worthless, then how worthy are the Emperor and his Thieving Elites to have a life to live to suck more blood of the innocents, including the miscreants? That is how cheap ordinary Nigerian lives are to Emperor Yar & his Kleptocrats, as long as he keeps his throne & guard it zealously for another doofus to take over from him.
