Kampala

Court has rejected an application to dismiss charges of embezzlement and causing financial loss against by former football federation boss David Obua.

Obua's lawyers had sought for a dismissal on grounds that the case had dragged on for to long.

The case has dragged on for three years but the state is yet to prove its allegations that Obua embezzled sh116m belonging to national soccer federation, FUFA.
