Angola: Zaire - Ruling MPLA Assesses Functioning of Sanitary Units

Mbanza Kongo

The second secretary of the ruling MPLA party in the northern Zaire province, Pedro Armando Makita last Thursday visited the provincial and district hospitals of Mbanza Kongo to learn about their functioning.

According to a press release from MPLA's provincial committee in that region, delivered toANGOP this Friday, the visit served to check the public attendance, the existing difficulties, as well as listening from health authorities about actions to be carried out in the future.

The note also refers that at Mbanza Kongo hospital, the MPLA official handed over foodstuff to patients hospitalised in that health unit.

The delegation comprises members of the provincial and municipal committees of the ruling MPLA party in Mbanza Kongo city.
