The National Assembly approved Tuesday the Bill on posts and distinctive (emblems, symbols, badges) of the National Police, which restructures the grades of the hierarchy in the corporation, adjusting them to the compared legislation.
The new diploma, approved by 99 votes in favour, proposed the designation of the last grade of the hierarchy in the National Police as grade of official commissioners", instead of "class of official generals", thus avoiding eventual confusions with the posts of the same grades in the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
The law also changed the designations of first-superintendent for chief-superintendent, subintendant for chief-inspector and the class of sergeants for the sub-chiefs.
It also extinguishes the post of aspirant, which promotes the current ones to the post of sub-inspector.
