A branch of the All Peoples Congress (APC) has been formed in the Arab State of Saudi Arabia.

This information was contained in an email from the branch chairman, Alpha Kapri Bangura, who is also the Financial Analyst for Arabian Agricultural Services Company (ARASCO), to the Press Attaché designate to Sierra Leone's Embassy in Riyyadh, Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Jalloh.

Bangura wrote: "As a newly constituted party branch, we would like to register our branch and its membership to the party headquarters in Freetown so that we would be known about and have a representation in Freetown," he said.

Meanwhile, APC's National Organising Secretary, Mohamed Lekulay Bangura has welcomed the idea. "The formation of the Saudi Arabia branch is a very good initiative and we look forward to working with them and all other political parties," he said.

Welcome to the family of the APC both at home and in the diaspora. Your chapter will definetely add to the mix of enthusiasm in working for and producing a better Sierra Leone for all.
