The 13-years-old son of a Former Commissioner of Energy and Commissioner Nominee in Bayelsa State, Chief Diekivie Ikiogha, was yesterday abducted by unknown gun men in front the gate of his school in Yenagoa.

The abduction of the 13 years old boy is coming barely few days after the revelation by some youths from Fangbe Community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the State that they were recruited with N2million by certain political bloc to kidnap the State Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Chief M.P.N Ogbara, as a negotiating tool for political appointments.

The boy, Fameme Ikiogha , was abducted by men suspected to have disguised theselves as officials of the State Ministry of Gender and Social Welfare.Feneme Ikiogha was kidnapped from the midst of over tweleve pupils of the Divine Comprehensive School located at Yenezuegene area along the Mbiama/Yenagoa road.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the management of the Nusery and Primary school were approached by the kidnappers around 2pm on Wednesday after the closing hours.They claimed that the pupil of the school were expected to particpate in a well known programme tagged "Children's Parliament".

The abducted kid, according to the sources within the school, had gone home but the father was contacted to allow the boy to represent the school in the programme.It was gathered that the the kids with other pupil were regular participant in the programme.
