COOLER weather with light rain is expected to hit southern Namibia this afternoon, the Windhoek Weather Bureau said yesterday.
Weatherman Odillo Kgobetsi said this is the result of a cold front that reached the Western and Northern Cape last night.
"It will bring clouds and rain in the Western and Northern Cape, which will influence temperatures in our southern parts," said Kobetsi.
But by the weekend, temperatures in southern Namibia will start picking up again.
He said temperatures in the rest of the country remain hot and dry with no indication of clouds.
