Nairobi — Sixty chief executives on Tuesday launched a campaign to encourage people to go for the HIV test.
The CEOs from various firms were joined by the public for free testing and counselling at the Aga Khan Sports Centre.
The National Aids Control Council director, Prof Aloys Orago said about 1.4 million people are expected to be tested country wide.
During the campaign, people will be tested at their homes, mobile clinics, health facilities, work places and in health camps.
The drive aims at having 80 per cent of Kenyans know their HIV status by 2010.
