GE Named a Strategic Investor by Nigeria's President Buhari

Recently, GE was named a strategic investor by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, together with companies such as the Dangote Group and Samsung. In his remarks, President Buhari called on other investors to make similar strategic investors which enhance economic growth. A supplier recruitment and development programme is underway to identify and coach local companies on how to work with GE on project scoping and quality management. Events were hosted in Lagos and Abuja, with over 250 Nigerian-owned businesses attending.
