New Innovation Hub for Africa's Future Engineers Opens in Joburg

GE has officially opened the doors to its new $32 million GE African Innovation Centre in South Africa - the green and LEED-certified building is located alongside the Killarney Country Club golf course, near Rosebank, in northern Johannesburg. "The center," according to GE Africa president Jay Ireland, will be a "collaborative work space" aimed at helping young people "share their innovative solutions, while learning from some of the best GE minds in their respective fields."
