South African Jay Caboz, a writer for Forbes Africa, won the GE-sponsored Energy & Infrastructure Award at the 2016 CNN Multichoice African Journalist Awards in October. He won for his piece '40 Years of Mozambique - The Dead Port that Rose Again,' which was chosen from entries spanning 38 African countries.
