Kenya Aviation Students Get GE Engine for Their Hands-on Training

A CF6-80A2 engine manufactured by General Electric (GE) along with other education materials was donated by Kenya Airways, GE and Boeing to the Aerospace and Aviation Engineering programme at the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) on April 10th 2017. The aircraft engine will enable engineering students at the university afford hands-on training on the engine that powers wide-body aircrafts such as the Airbus A310 and Boeing 767. Read more. A CF6-80A2 engine manufactured by General Electric (GE) was donated by Kenya Airways, GE and Boeing to the Aerospace and Aviation Engineering programme at Technical University of Kenya (TUK) to enable its students afford hands-on training on the aircraft engine that powers the Airbus A310 and Boeing 767.

Over the GE CF6-80A2 aircraft engine donated to the Technical University of Kenya, the university also launched their Aircraft Propulsion Systems Lab.
