Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, Minister of International Development of Norway, and Former Nigerian Agriculture Minister, Akinwumi Adesina, joined Global Citizens to discuss the global food security crisis and agriculture ahead of Global Citizen Festival on Sept. 24. To address the food crisis, support smallholder farmers and agriculture to end extreme poverty, Norway contributed NOK 100 million to the African Development Bank's Africa Emergency Food Production Facility at Global Citizen Festival.
